Length - 225' .....NNW of Bloomingdale, Penn Township. N50W N. 4.1 miles from jct with W500N in Bloomingdale to the bridge. The longest single span covered bridge in Indiana. Built by Joseph J. Daniels. Named after President Andrew Jackson. Rehabilitated 1977 and 2007. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Single Span Double Burr Arch Through Truss with Double Kingpost.

WEST UNION COVERED BRIDGE - WEST UNION, INDIANA

BUILT - 1876
Length - 315' .... WNW of Bloomingdale, Reserve Township. W500N W. 3.9 miles from jct with N50W at Bloomingdale, NW on N210W 0.8 miles, N. on N525W 0.5 miles to the bridge on the E. side of the road. Built by Joseph J. Daniels. Named for the once small town of West Union which was a canal and railroad hub, which today is all but disappeared. Abutments were repaired after the 1913 flood, and in 1931. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Bypassed and closed to traffic in 1974. Truss Type - Covered Double Burr Arch Two Span Through Truss.

BUILT - 1873
Length - 178'.... NE of Mecca, Wabash Township. CR136 NE 0.3 miles from the jct with Wells St. in Mecca to the bridge on the S. side of the road. Closed to motor traffic in 1964. Built by Joseph J. Daniels at a cost of $7650. Closed to through traffic in 1964. Restored in 1993. Posted on the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch Through Truss.

Length - 154' ....Four miles SSE of Rockville. S.from Rockville on Bridgeton Rd. approx. 4 miles to L. Wimmer Rd. (County Rd. 121) 3/4 mile to bridge. Built initially by Henry Wolfe, then rebuilt and moved to present location by Joseph J. Daniels. Rehabilitated in 1875. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978.
