Length - 81' .... NNW of Rosedale, Florida Township. CR13 (Old Greencastle Rd.) N. 2.2 miles from jct with CR6 (W1000S) at the W. edge of Rosedale, NE on S325W 0.8 miles to the bridge. Built by Joseph A. Britton. Rehabilitated 1977. Bridge named after the local landowner who owned lane around the bridge. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch 1 Span Through Truss.

THORPE FORD COVERED BRIDGE - ROSEDALE, INDIANA

BUILT - 1912
Length - 181'.... NE of Rosedale, Florida Township. CR19 (Cemetery St. - changes to Rosedale Catlin Rd.) N. (curves E., N., & E.) 1.5 miles from jct with CR6 (Central St. - W1000S) at the E. edge of Rosedale to the bridge on the S. side of the road. Built by Joseph A. Britton. Around the area where the bridge is built was originally called Thorpe Ford, named after the family that owned much of the land near the ford. Bridge was condemned in 1960 and bypassed in 1961. Closed to motor traffic in 1978. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Truss Type - Covered Double Burr Arch Through Truss.

CONLEY'S FORD COVERED BRIDGE - MANSFIELD, INDIANA

BUILT - 1906-1907
Length - 211' .... ENE of Bridgeton, Raccoon Township. E780S E. 0.9 miles from jct with S350E in Bridgeton, NE on E710S (curves E.) 2.0 miles, S. on S550E 0.2 miles to the bridge. Built by J. Lawrence Van Fossen. Unlike most bridges in the region, this bridge was made of white pine instead of poplar. The bridge is one of the world's longest single span covered bridges. In 1991 the bridge was re-sided and re-roofed. It also had its "Daniel Portals" converted into "Britton Portals" along with the build date changed to 1907 from 1906-07. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Double Burr Arch Through Truss.
