Length - 92'.....NW of Eaton, Washington Township. US127 N. 1.5 miles from jct with US35 in Eaton, W. on Washington Jackson Rd. 0.75 miles, NW on Eaton Gettysburg Rd. 0.35 miles, continue NW on Eaton New Hope Rd. 250' to the bridge. Built by Everett S. Sherman at a total cost of $4,250. Rehabilitation work undertaken from 2007-2008 cost $331.093. It was named for  Solomon Christman who owned the land around the bridge and operated a sawmill downstream. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on October 22, 1976. Rebuilt 2008.
