BUILT - 1904

Length- 114' .... SW of Hillsboro, Little Levels Township. US219 SW 2.1 miles from jct with Main St. in Hillsboro, S. on Locust Creek Rd. (CR20) 3.1 miles, W. on Denmar Rd. (CR31) 200' to the bridge. Built by W.M . Irvine. The original bridge in this location was built in 1870 by R.N. Bruce. The bridge utilized a rare Warren Double Intersection Truss. This bridge was replaced in 1888. In 1904 this bridge was rebuilt, interior supports, trusses, side paneling and roof were replaced during the reconstruction. During this construction the new truss was of the Smith Through Truss Design. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on June 4, 1981. Closed to motor traffic.
