EAGLEVILLE COVERED BRIDGE - SHUSHAN, NEW YORK

                                                                                        WASHINGTON COUNTY
                                                                                                  BUILT - 1858

Length - 100'.... SE of Shushan, Jackson/Salem Township. CR61 E. .06 miles from jct with CR64 in Shusham, S. on Binninger Rd. (curves E.) 1.4 miles, continue E. on Eagleville Rd. 50' to the bridge. Built by Ephraim W. Clapp.  Bridge was damaged by flood in 1977 but was "stabilized and returned to vehicular use". Bridge was restored in 2007.  Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on March 8, 1978. Open to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Town Lattice Truss.

BUSKIRK COVERED BRIDGE - BUSKIRK, NEW YORK












                                                                                                      HOOSIC RIVER
                                                                               RENSSELAER/WASHINGTON COUNTY
                                                                                                     BUILT - 1857/1880

Length - 160'....In Buskirk 3.5 miles from jct. NY-22 N. on NY-67 then right on CR103/59 .03 miles to bridge. After major damage to the original bridge which was built in 1857, it was majorly rebuilt on the present location in 1880. Rehabilitated in 2005. Posted on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Howe Through Truss.

KIDD'S MILL COVERED BRIDGE - GREENVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA

                                                                                                       BUILT - 1868

Length - 124'....S. of Greenville, Pymatuning Township. PA St Rt.-58 S. .07 miles from jct with PA St Rt._358 in Greenville, W.(curves S.) Hamburg Rd. 3.1 miles,W. on Reynolds Industrial Park Rd.(SR-4012) .02 miles, SW on Kidd's Mill Rd. .01 miles to bridge. Closed to motor traffic. Built by Smith Bridge Company out of Toledo, Ohio. Bridge was bypassed in 1963. Rehabilitated in 1990. Kidd's Mill Covered Bridge is the easternmost and oldest of the remaining of the 20 remaining Smith trusses in the United States and is the only remaining Type 2 Smith Truss remaining. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1974. Closed to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Smith Through Truss.

Length - 129'.... SW of Volant, SR.-168 approx 1.5 miles to R. on Gerber Rd. approx. 2.0 miles to R. on Covered Bridge Rd. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 27, 1980. Open  to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr arch truss supported by steel girders.

MCCONNELL'S MILL COVERED BRIDGE - ROSE POINT, PENNSYLVANIA

Length - 101'....In McConnell's Mill State Park SE of Rose Point, Slippery Rock Township. US Rt-19 E. 1.0 miles from jct with Old Butler Rd. in Rose Point, S. on McConnell's Mill Rd. 1.1 miles to bridge. Builders - Bell & Breckinridge and  J. B. White and Sons. Rehabilitated in 1957 and 1998. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 27, 1980. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Howe Through Truss and supported by steel girders.
