Length - 101' .... S. of Catawissa, Cleveland Township. PA487 S. 3.7 miles from jct with PA42 in Catawissa, E. on Ashton Hollow Rd. 0.3 miles, continue W. on Ridge Rd. 0.4 miles, S. on Esther Furnace Rd. 0.4 miles to the bridge. Built by C.W. Eves at a cost of $1,044.75. Bridge is named after the Esther iron smelting furnace built in 1817. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979. Open to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Two-Span  Queenpost Through Truss.
