Built by Joseph Redline at a cost of $1349.50. Named for the Hess Family who owned a sawmill and farm nearby. Restored in 2005. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979. Closed to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch Through Truss.
