Length - 106' .... NE of Orangeville, Fishing Creek Township. PA487 NE 4.0 miles from jct with PA93 in Orangeville, E. on Winding Rd. 1.4 miles, N. on Covered bridges Ln. 200' to the bridge. Built by Joseph Redline at a cost of $1349.50. Named for the Hess Family who owned a sawmill and farm nearby. Restored in 2005. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979. Closed to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch Through Truss.
