S40E SW 1.5 miles from Catlin, N. on Rosedale Catlin Rd. 0.2 miles, turns W. & curves NW & becomes W575S 1.3 miles, curves N., NW on W500S 0.5 miles to the bridge. Built by Joseph A. Britton. Bridge named after Zachariah Cox who was born nearby in Coloma in 1857. His father was E.T. Cox and his family was quite prominent in Parke County with various family members owning nearly 1000 acres of land near the bridge. This bridge, along with the Harry Evans and Weisner covered bridges built by J.A. Britton, lack the traditional Britton Portals, Instead they have more semi-arched portals that more resemble the Hendricks Portals of the well known covered bridge builder, William Hendricks. Rehabilitated in 1989, 1991, and 2002. Truss Type - Covered Single Span Burr Arch Through Truss.

Built by Joseph A. Britton. Rehabilitated 1977. Bridge named after the local landowner who owned lane around the bridge. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch 1 Span Through Truss.

Length - 181'.... NE of Rosedale, Florida Township. CR19 (Cemetery St. - changes to Rosedale Catlin Rd.) N. (curves E., N., & E.) 1.5 miles from jct with CR6 (Central St. - W1000S) at the E. edge of Rosedale to the bridge on the S. side of the road. Built by Joseph A. Britton. Around the area where the bridge is built was originally called Thorpe Ford, named after the family that owned much of the land near the ford. Bridge was condemned in 1960 and bypassed in 1961. Closed to motor traffic in 1978. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1978. Truss Type - Covered Double Burr Arch Through Truss.
