Built by T.S. Christian for $325. The bridge was named after Joseph Shoemaker, a nearby farmer and lumberman. Restored 2008. Posted to the National Register of  Historic Places on November 29, 1979. Closed to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Queenpost Through Truss.
