BUILT - 1880*

Length - 64'.... E. of Elysburg. PA487 E. 2.1 miles from jct with PA54 on the S. side of Elysburg, S. on Jepko Rd. 0.75 miles to the bridge. (* Various sources state bridge was built in 1852, however that was probably the original bridge built in the near vicinity on a site near John Richard's family.) Bridge was built at a cost of $565. Bridge was posted to the National Register of Historic Places on August 8, 1979. Bridge is open to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Queenpost Through Truss

Length - 43' .... E. of Rebuck, Washington Township. SR3010 E. 0.7 miles from Rebuck, N. on Middle Creek (Covered Bridge) Rd. 0.3 miles to the bridge. Rehabilitated in 1973.  Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on August 8, 1979. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Multiple Kingpost Through Truss.

HENNINGER FARM COVERED BRIDGE - ELIZABETHVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA

DAUPHIN COUNTY
BUILT - ca 1850

Length- 72'.... NE of Elizabethville, Washington Township. US209 E. 2.4 miles from jct with PA225 in Elizabethville, N. on Rakers Mill Rd. 0.6 miles, N. on Motter Rd. 0.4 miles to the bridge. Arsoned in 2000. Rebuilt in 2003. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on December 8, 1978. Closed to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch Truss, the Burr Arch trusses are inside the multiple kingpost trusses rather than the usual technique of sandwiching the trusses. It also has straight beams which follow the curve of the arch.

ROCK COVERED BRIDGE - PINE GROVE, PENSYLVANIA

















 LOWER LITTLE SWATARA CREEK
SCHYKILL COUNTY
BUILT - 1870

Length - 56' .... E. of Pine Grove, Washington Township. PA895 E. 5.2 miles from jct with PA443 in Pine Grove, N. on Loves Rd. 0.1 miles to the bridge. Rebuilt 2014. During this time the original stone abutments of the bridge were strengthened with concrete, and steel I-Beam supports were placed next to the abutments to add extra support to the structure. Inside a steel guardrail was placed to protect the truss system from traffic. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on January 3, 1978. Open to through traffic. Truss Type - Covered Single Span Burr Arch Through Truss.
