BUILT - 1881 

Length - 49' .... N. of Millville, Pine Township. PA42 N. 1.5 miles from jct with PA254 in Millville, NW on PA442 0.9 miles, W. on Pine School Rd. 200', S. on Shoemaker Bridge Rd. 250' to the bridge. Built by T.S. Christian for $325. The bridge was named after Joseph Shoemaker, a nearby farmer and lumberman. Restored 2008. Posted to the National Register of  Historic Places on November 29, 1979. Closed to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Queenpost Through Truss.

(SR3012) 0.9 miles, S. on Keefer Mill Rd. 0.3 miles to the bridge. Built by William Butler at a cost of $498. Rehabilitated in 1983. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979. Open to motor traffic. Truss Type - Covered Burr Arch Truss.

HASSENPLUG COVERED BRIDGE - MIFFLINBURG, PENNSYLVANIA

BUILT - 1825

Length - 70' ....In Mifflinburg. 4th St. N. 0.4 miles from jct with PA45 in Mifflinburg to the bridge. It was named for the Hassenplug family, who lived in the brick house nearby. Rehabilitated in 1959 at which time the wooden deck was replaced with steel grating and a pier was added to allow for heavier traffic. The bridge is one of the two oldest covered bridges in the country. Posted to the National Register of Historic Places on February 8, 1980. Open to motor traffic.
